Senior Accountant (Cuttack)

The Senior Accountant will be solely responsible for end - to - end accounting taxation and statutory compliance of the organization This is a critical position requiring strong control over project - wise accounting especially through Cost Centers in Tally which is an extremely significant and mandatory requirement for this role Key Responsibilities1 Complete Accounting Management End - to - End Independently handle daily journal entries vouchers ledgers and supporting documents Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally Tally Prime Ensure proper accounting classification of income expenditure assets and liabilities Perform monthly quarterly and annual closing of accounts Finalize Trial Balance Profit Loss Account and Balance Sheet 2 Cost Center Accounting - TOP PRIORITY Create maintain and control Cost Centers in Tally for Project - wise accounting Department - wise expense tracking Site - wise and activity - wise cost allocation Ensure 100 accuracy in cost allocation to the correct Cost Centers Generate Cost Center - wise reports for Project cost monitoring Management review Audit and departmental verification Continuously monitor cost overruns mismatches and reporting gaps This responsibility is non - negotiable and central to the role 3 Taxation Statutory Compliance Independently manage GST compliances including GSTR - 1 GSTR - 3B GSTR - 2B reconciliation ITC tracking and utilization Handle TDS compliances Deduction challan payments return filing Issuance of Form 16 16A Support Income Tax workings advance tax calculations and coordination with consultants Ensure timely statutory compliance under applicable laws Job Type Full - time Pay 28 400 00 - 31 400 00 per month Education
