Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and aspiring Junior Project Engineer to join their civil engineering team in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, IN . This is an excellent entry - level opportunity for a recent Civil Engineering graduate to gain practical experience in project execution, site supervision, and technical problem - solving. You will work under the guidance of experienced project managers and engineers, contributing to various stages of construction projects, from planning and design review to on - site implementation and quality control.

Responsibilities: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of civil engineering projects. Support senior engineers and project managers in daily project activities. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to designs, and identify potential issues. Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints, ensuring all requirements are met. Assist in preparing project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and safety records. Perform quantity take - offs and assist in material procurement planning. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations on - site. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. Identify and report any deviations from project plans or safety protocols to the project management team. Conduct basic structural or material testing and analysis as directed. Help in resolving site - specific technical challenges and document solutions. Assist in the preparation of as - built drawings and project close - out documentation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution. Strong academic record and a solid understanding of fundamental civil engineering principles. Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant engineering design software is a plus. Familiarity with construction methodologies and safety standards. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
