Job Description

A Home Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients at their residence. The role includes monitoring patient health, administering medications, assisting with daily activities, coordinating with doctors, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for recovery.

Key Responsibilities: - Provide nursing care to patients at home as per medical instructions. - Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. - Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed. - Assist patients with bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support. - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the patient s surroundings. - Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the doctor or family members. - Manage wound care, dressing changes, and post - operative care. - Support elderly, disabled, or chronically ill patients with routine activities. - Maintain accurate medical records and daily care reports. - Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and family members. - Follow safety and infection control procedures.

Skills: - Nursing or equivalent qualification. - Valid nursing registration certificate. - Minimum 1 3 years of experience in hospital or home care preferred . - Knowledge of patient handling, first aid, and basic medical procedures. - Good communication and compassionate caregiving approach. - Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations. - Physically fit and patient - friendly attitude.
