Job Description

Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Nursing GNM or B.Sc Nursing - Valid nursing registration e.g., with State Nursing Council in India - Specialized training or experience in cardiac catheterization lab - Set up and sterilize the catheterization lab equipment - Prepare surgical instruments, catheters, and supplies - Ensure all imaging and monitoring equipment is functioning - Verify patient identity, consent, and readiness - Assist the cardiologist during procedures e.g., passing catheters, wires, balloons - Maintain strict sterile technique at all times - Monitor patient s vital signs in collaboration with the team - Anticipate the physician s needs to ensure smooth workflow - Provide care and reassurance to patients before, during, and after procedures - Monitor for complications e.g., bleeding, arrhythmias - Administer medications as prescribed - Assist in patient recovery and transfer - Document procedure details accurately - Expertise in sterile techniques and infection control - Good communication and teamwork skills
