Your primary responsibilities will include verifying drug prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing exceptional service to our patients. Responsibilities: - Dispense medications accurately as per prescriptions and indents from healthcare providers. - Raise pharmacy requisition slips to maintain adequate stock levels of medications and supplies. - Receive stock deliveries from stores and verify them against issue slips for accuracy, including quantity, batch number, and expiry dates. - Conduct daily physical verification of stock against computer data to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies. - Monitor and take stock of short - expiry medicines on a monthly basis and non - moving medicines every six months. - Build and maintain positive customer relationships to enhance patient satisfaction and ensure effective service. - Provide advice to patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions. - Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory levels. - Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards. - Assist in managing pharmacy operations, including staff training and development.
Requirements: - M. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy, or D. Pharmacy degree with valid PCI registration. - Previous experience in a pharmacy or hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory. - Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and medication management. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to handle and manage inventory efficiently. - Good communication skills and a customer - oriented approach. - Proficiency in using pharmacy software and computer systems. - Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients.
