Chemist - DRI

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced DRI Chemist for our facility in Rourkela, Odisha, to lead quality analysis and maintain process standards. You will be responsible for testing all input and output materials to ensure they meet strict IS and plant standards. Key Responsibilities - Quality Analysis: Perform comprehensive testing of raw materials, final products, and by - products while preparing detailed quality reports. - Process Standards: Maintain a thorough understanding of IS standards for testing and calibration procedures to ensure technical accuracy. - Planning Resource Management: Conduct manpower planning and ensure all necessary lab chemicals and consumables are available per testing frequency. - Testing knowledge of sponge iron , iron ore, lime stone, dolomite, Si - Mn, Anthracite, bentonite and Pig Iron. - Safety Compliance: Ensure zero safety incidents, promote 5S standards, and maintain compliance with ISO, IMS, and NABL certifications.
